Taylor Momsen Gossip Girl final season

Taylor Momsen Gossip Girl final season

BRITTANY:

BRITTANY:

Noooooo!!!! Recently Little J (aka- Taylor Momsen) gave an interview to OK magazine where she was approached at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show. When asked about what she’s doing, she responded:

“Um, right now I’m trying to just finish my record and getting through the last season of Gossip Girl for right now. So not so much thinking about that.”

I really hope this isn’t true. I Googled it and I can’t find anything else that indicates it’s the final season of Gossip Girl…but if anyone would know it would be Little J — wouldn’t it?

I don’t know, I’m confused, and I really hope she was misquoted. I can’t imagine my life without GG!

Peace,

B.

Chuck Bass Prom Date

Chuck Bass Prom Date

COOPER:

COOPER:

Gossip Girl has been on a long break since the holidays, and I can’t wait until Gossip Girl 2010 premieres. I have some predictions for Gossip Girl 2010:

- Chuck and Blair will break up;

- Serena will meet her father and drama will ensue;

- Little J and Erik’s relationship will explode and it will be all out war at Constance;

- Dan will be Dan and bounce back and forth between totally annoying and (plot) irrelevant relationships;

- Tripp will become even more sinister and he will cross the wrong people and will end up dead;

- Hopefully Hillary Duff (who was so memorable as whats-her-name) will leave the show;

- Georgina and Chuck will hook up and start destroying lives together;

- Blair will get involved with Nate again and momentarily cut Chuck to the curb;

- Rufus and Lily will separate when Dr. van der Woodsen returns;

- Rufus and Lily’s secret son will go to the tabloids and antagonize Serena through the press and create more drama for the Humphrey-van der Woodsens;

- Serena will hook up with Nate (behind Tripp’s back) and the Serena-Nate-Blair love triangle will resume;

Those are my Gossip Girl 2010 predictions; we’ll see how many of them come true.

Peace,

Cooper

Gossip Girl: After the Threesome

Gossip Girl: After the Threesome

BRITTANY:

BRITTANY:

This episode started off as bore, but quickly got good when Queen Jenny met her social match in, Damian, the son of the Diplomat. Turns out Damian is a devlish international drug deal that’s out to corrupt Little J. I think Little J is so funny ’cause she thinks she’s so wise and powerful, but she’s just a scared little girl. Looks like you’re in over your head again, Little J…you help from a friendly Bass to stay afloat.

One night Dan is sharing his bed with Vanessa and Olivia, and the next morning he’s living up to his nickname Lonely Boy. The morning after the threesome changed Dan’s life because everyone started to notice what I’ve noticed all along — that D and V are hot for each other.

The “relationship” between Serena and Tripp turned out to be totally disappointing. Just when they admit their feelings for each other, S has an attack of morality and enlists Nate to help her stay away from him.

Overall, I really wasn’t into this episode. But there’s a lot of stuff that’s been set up, so I bet it will be better next week.

GOSSIP GIRL: WILL ERIK DESTROY LITTLE J?

Will Erik Ruin Jenny Humphrey Little J?

Will Erik Ruin Jenny Humphrey Little J?

BRITTANY:

BRITTANY:

After all the drama at the cotillion, the question is, Will Erik van der Woodsen ruin Little J’s reign as Queen Bee on the Upper East Side?

For the first two seasons Erik was a character that supported Little J in her quest to rule the Upper East Side; he was by her side as a  confident and he really helped her battle Blair and guided her through all the personal problems she had with Rufus and the mean girls at school. Now that Rufus married Erik’s mom, Lily, Little J has become a “social equal” to Erik and she no longer has a need for him, and Erik sees it.  Now that Little J (aka: Jenny Humphrey) has achieved social supremacy she has proven that Erik’s support and friendship means nothing to her ’cause she has walked all over him when she has needed to. She proved that Erik’s support is expendable when she instructed her clique to dumb ice-cream on him when he wouldn’t relinquish his spot on the Steps. Little J is schemer and she will walk over anyone to get what she wants.

But Erik is fighting back! He proved at the cotillion that he won’t sit back and be disrespected when joined forces with Blair and deleted her text message from a popular guy, and left her dateless at the cotillion. But like any great Queen Bee she rose above and was introduced to society by Nate, and turned the tables in her favor again. Erik’s not through though. He broke up with his boyfriend, and has dedicated his time to being a Drama Queen in his own right, and the last episode proved that it’s his new quest to take down Little J.

The thing that bothers me about Little J’s behavior is that the entire Humphrey family has gone from being Brooklyn Nobodies to integrating themselves into the lives of the van der Woodsens. All the Humphreys are social climbers, and they try to portray themselves as being “real”, but there completely the opposite. But Erik has caught on, he knows her weaknesses better than anyone, and I believe his scheming will be alot for Little J to overcome.

What Little J neglects to realize is that she is a transplant in Erik’s world. Erik grew up a van der Woodsen and he knows the world of the Upper East Side so much better than Little J, and it’s his experience that will bring her down. She doesn’t know what shes dealing with. In my opinion, once the news breaks of S’s relationship with Tripp, S will become an outcast and she will begin to see the Humphreys’ true colors. Once she does, she will join forces with Erik and they will destroy Little J — ’cause those Steps were Serena’s long before Little J even knew how to take the D train out of Brooklyn.

Remember one thing: Blood is thicker than Christal, Little J.

LITTLE J AND NATE’S RELATIONSHIP AFTER THE COTILLION

Saturday, November 14th, 2009
Jenny and Nate at the cotillion

Jenny and Nate at the cotillion

BRITTANY:

BRITTANY:

Nate’s about to finish what he left off last season. I’m sure you wall remember when Nate got a little too close to Little J last season. Well, his random act of kindness is about to spiral out of control and end up in a forbidden relationship between him and Constance Billard’s reigning Queen Bee.

I think that when the relationship between Nate’s cousin Tripp and his childhood friend Serena is revealed it will send Nate into a whirlwind of anger and depression, just like he experienced last season, and he will end up in the arms of Little J / Jenny Humphrey. After all, Little J is a year older and a year wiser and she’s ready for a relationship with an almighty Archibald.

They didn’t go all the way last season, but I believe Nate and Little J will go all the way this season. This will give Little J uber-power at Constance as she will not only be dating an Archibald but she will be dating a college guy as well; all the girls will look to her for advice on their relationships.

Anyway, that’s what I think will happen between Nate and Little J in the episodes to come.

Peace,

Brittany
