Serena Kisses Tripp Van Der Bilt

Looks like the old Serena is back in full force. She seemed to have went to image rehab for the first few seasons because she was the sweet and conflicted character while Blair was the total bitch. But those days have ended, because not only is S a paparazzi target and international celebrity, but she’s also beginning to exude her power by alienating Blair and keeping her distance from Dan, Vanessa and all the other people in her life that were once so important to her.

While trying to prove herself and make an “honest living”, Serena finds herself working for Nate’s cousin and newly elected Congressman Tripp Van Der Bilt. S should have stuck to waking up at noon and shopping on Madison Ave, because this new life as a working woman doesn’t look like it’s agreeing with her. As you can see by the photo posted above, Serena has gone from merely flirting with Tripp to all out kissing him. My prediction for the coming episodes is that the Congressman will get tripped up by Serena’s beauty and they will launch into an all-out affair, and leave Tripp’s wife brokenhearted and his career in jeopardy.

Things seem like there about to get even more scandalous on the Upper East Side. The effects of this affair are huge on not just Serena, Tripp and his wife, but on all the players on the Upper East Side.

Here’s how I think it will affect everyone:

1) Tripp’s Marriage will be devastated by his dalliance with S

2) S will give into her demons and an even more self-centered and destructive Serena will emerge

3) S will betray Nate and he will become conflicted with whom to trust and he will spiral into a relationship with Little J (again)

4) The Vanderbilt (or Van Der Bilt) Dynasty will be in jeopardy and Grandfather will reemerge

5) Dan will somehow find his way back into the picture gain social status through S’s problems, and their relationship will be affected

6) Rufus and Lily’s relationship will be strained because it is Rufus that stuck up for Serena and convinced Lily to let her defer Brown and get a “real job”

7) The affair will create great strain between the van der Woodsens and the Vanderbilts, and Grandfather will launch a smear campaign to destroy Lily, Rufus and Serena

8 ) The drama destroy Little J and Erik’s relationship even more ’cause Erik will side with Serena and Little J will be on her new boyfriend, Nate’s, side

Better take a Tripp to a HAWT store and buy some jewelry, kissing S is going to cost you, Tripp.

The crazy drama of the last episode (Season 3, Episode 9) have renewed my faith in Gossip Girl. I really thought it was headed for cancellation this season, but I was wrong. The last episode has set the stage for a million possibilities, but I’d like to offer my predictions for the rest of the season.

Here are my predictions:

1) The Congressman gets tripped up and falls for Serena

2) Vanessa sells out Olivia and extorts her for the Threesome

3) Little J begins a relationship w/ Nate due to his kindness at her
cotillion and they end up sleeping together

4) Erik become Little J’s nemesis on the UES

5) Blair and Chuck continue on doing “Blair and Chuck Stuff”

Those are my immediate predictions for what is going to happen. Maybe we’ll even see some of this happen this Monday (November 16)?
